Dr Dilip joined MBBS form GSVM medical college, Kanpur in 1997 and completed it in 2002. He did internship from LLR and associated Hospital in 2003. He joined MS (Surgery) from KMC, Manipal, one of the most prestigious medical institutes in India, in 2004. After completing MS in 2007 he worked as Senior Resident in Dr Sushila Tiwari Memorial Hospital, Haldwani, Uttarakhand in 2007. He worked and was admitted to the degree of Membership of Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) from Edinburgh, UK in later part of 2007. Medical College, Manipal in 2009. Throughout his residency in Urology he remained outstanding scholar and developed archetypal skill in managing all routine urological procedure and surgeries. Following his MCh , he was selected as the sole candidate from all over India for a Japanese Urological Association Scholarship Program and was admitted to a Fellowship Training course in Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery at Tokyo Medical University Hospital, Japan. Following his training in Japan, He joined as Assistant Professor in Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He was involved in clinical work ranging from endourology, general urology, Uro-oncology, Reconstructive Urology and Renal Transplantation while serving at KMC, Manipal. He was also involved in Teaching of MBBS Students, MS Surgery post graduates and Urology Residents pursuing MCh training program. He was promoted to Associate Professor in Urology in 2014. During his academic career he did many research works and published 10 scientific papers in national and international Journals. He has participated in more than 40 urological national and international conferences and presented 15 papers in various conferences. He won Best Poster Award for “ histological surprises post nephrectomy” in KUACON-2011 at Manipal, Karnataka. He Won 1st prize in Bijapur Uroquiz during KUACON-2014 at Bangalore, Karnataka. He also Won Manipal Best Published Paper Award for the paper “Tubeless simultaneous bilateral percutaneous nephrolithotomy:Safety, feasibility and efficacy in an Indian setting. International Journal of Urology (2014) 21, 497–502” in KUACON-2014 at Bangalore. He received the Award of the UAA Youth Section Fellowships for the year 2014 and attended the 12th Asian Congress of Urology at Kish Islands, Iran from 5-9 December, 2014.He Presented paper on “Tubeless percutaneous nephrolithotomy for lower calyceal stones is a cost effective and ideal management in Indian setting – A single centre study” at 2nd ESD “Experts in Stone Disease” Conference at Cape Town , South Africa on December 10-13, 2014. He Presented 3 videos on “Experience with a novel ‘steerable’ basket in PCNL”, “Mini PCNL with storz MIP XS nephroscope is ideal for pediatric urolithiasis: A pilot study” , “Super-perc – A new technique of minimally invasive PCNL” at World Congress of Endourology, London, UK on October 1-4, 2015He has been working as Full time Urology consultant at Pushpanjali Hospital and Research centre, Agra, from last one year.
