He is responsible for overseeing medical quality, clinical governance, training and research in vascular surgery and varicose vein treatment. He did his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram& MS in General Surgery from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He then acquired his DNB (General Surgery) from New Delhi.
