Dr. Dipanjan Panda currently serves as a Senior Consultant within the Department of Medical Oncology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. Prior to joining this esteemed institution, he held the position of Associate Professor and served as the head of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences. This institute, known for its specialization in hepatology and biliary diseases, operates as an autonomous super specialty institution under the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.

Dr. Panda subsequently transitioned to a faculty position in India.
In 2011, Dr. Panda made significant contributions to the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences by establishing the Department of Medical Oncology. His pioneering efforts also included initiating the first dedicated Hepato Pancreatic Biliary (HPB) Oncology unit in the country, as well as launching a Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC) in HPB oncology.
Dr. Panda is recognized for his dual roles as a highly skilled clinician and a dedicated academician. He has an impressive portfolio of approximately 20 publications in various peer-reviewed national and international journals to his credit, in addition to delivering numerous lectures at both national and international conferences. He is an active member of esteemed organizations such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the European Society of Medical Oncology.
