He also passed the D.P.M(Psychiatry) and D.N.B examination. He presented his thesis titled-"Emotional Attitudes Of Spouses Of Schizophrenic Patients" in the Royal College of Psychiatrists meet in Hyderabad in 1996. He presented his thesis titled -"Emotional Attitudes of spouses of Schizophrenic patients in the Birmingham Medical Institute and won the prestigious 'Cloak Medal' in 1998. He passed his MRCPsych examination in 2004 and at present is subscribing member of the college. Thereafter he was selected for higher training in Intellectual Disability in the West-midlands higher specialty training scheme in 2005.
