Dr Priyadarshi Amit, MS DNB MCh FRCS (Eng), is a dual fellowship trained orthopaedic Surgeon with previous eperience of working as consultant in the UK. He is currently working as senior consultant in Amrita Hospital Faridabad where he is leading upper limb unit. He has got special interest in shoulder, elbow and upper limb surgeries. He specializes in both open and arthroscopic surgeries, providing world-class care to patients with sport injuries, trauma, and orthopaedic conditions. He then completed his orthopaedic residency program (MS Orthopaedics) at the same institute, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for his performance. He is a Diplomate of National Board (DNB Orthopaedics).Dr Amit was awarded membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (MRCSEd), and consequently relocated to the UK where he completed his speciality training in a NHS hospital. He gained his MCh (Trauma & Orthopaedics) degree at Edge Hill University in Lancashire and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS (England).Dr Amit’s foremost fellowship was Arthroscopy (Sports Surgery) fellowship at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham (one of the five Elective Orthopaedic Centres in the UK).
