My ideal client is an individual who seeks a holistic and integrative approach to mental health care. This person understands that mental health is influenced by a complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors, and is open to exploring various aspects of their life to achieve optimal well-being. The are open to exploring how their diet, lifestyle, environment, and physiological factors impact their mental health. They appreciate the interconnectedness of physical physical and mental health and are willing to consider non-traditional approaches to treatment alongside conventional methods. , I understand the hesitation that many feel regarding medication, and I will partner with these clients to explore options and give ethical medication recommendations when clinically indicated. In addition to traditional psychiatric assessment and diagnoses, I also incorporate lifestyle assessments and provide solution-focused psychotherapy for support. , As a nurse of 10+ years, I have had the privilege of working in many diverse settings, which has deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions. I do believe that we can all heal and move forward towards peace and fulfillment, and reaching out is the first step in this journey.
