My interest in medicine can be traced back to my early childhood. I come from a family with several generations of physicians. My father, a pediatrician, had the greatest influence on me. What amazed me the most about him was the amount of care and genuine concern that he demonstrated for his patients, which in my mind are essential for an ideal physician. I received my bachelors degree from Columbia University, majoring in psychology. Vincent Van Gogh once said: "After all there is nothing in the world as interesting as people, and one can never study them enough." , My interest in child psychiatry was sparked by my experience during the internship in my last year of college, along with some experience of elementary school teaching. It was further solidified by the gratification obtained from providing emotional support to my friends, who suffered from anxiety or depression. , My medical school training at the Osteopathic medical school has taught me to look far beyond a collection of symptoms when seeing patients, but rather to evaluate each individual as a whole. I specialize in treating both children and adults with depression, anxiety, mood disorders and ADHD.
