Stephanie L. Weingard graduated from Florida International University, achieving a post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings over the past 8 years. She is also a United States Air Force Reservist and works providing mental health care to both active duty and reserve members. , In 2012 she was awarded the Secretary of Veterans Affairs Excellence in Nursing award for care improvement strategies implemented on the intensive psychiatric inpatient unit.
