About Us

Hi! My name is Crystal Turner. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who treats adults 18 and older. I treat various mental health conditions including trauma. mood disorders, depression, and anxiety. My approach is compassionate and inclusive. I incorporate education into my approach as I know well-informed patients have better outcomes. I also incorporate holistic approaches to integrate into care. I commonly work with people with history of trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychosis. , My communication style is inclusive and educational. To work with me feels like being well informed and heard. I am here to work with patients with their concerns in mind. The importance of mental health for me came as a result of mental illness in my family. This arose from significant trauma for people before me and its impact throughout my family. , " I have seen significant amounts of this in community as well. I also had a friend develop mental illness and lack of awareness with her support system prevented loved ones from being proactive to help where is would have been possible. I set goals with patient concerns in mind. I also consider patients most distressing issues to address these concerns first "
