About Us

Being human is just damn HARD sometimes. Struggling with a traumatic event, mental health and/ or addictions can feel like drowning in unseen waves; the waves of grief, anxiety, anger, fear, trauma, relational concerns, transitions, or self-worth. We try to soothe ourselves by acting out on ourselves, or others or engaging in behaviours that harm us and those we love. You can begin the process of rebuilding and reclaiming by slowly and bravely embracing your wounds, all while staying afloat. Together, we will begin to anticipate those waves coming and not get pulled under but rather negotiate them with resounding courage. , I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with PTSD, substance abuse, disordered eating, life transitions, self-esteem challenges. techniques are informed by strength- based, collaborative, and trauma- informed methods with a priority of going at your pace. I value a space where swearing and crying are encouraged and welcomed. , As a therapist, my purpose and passion lie in providing support and accompanying my clients as they courageously confront their emotions and experiences. I deeply admire those who engage in the therapeutic journey; stepping into therapy for the first time can be daunting, filled with uncertainty and mixed feelings.
