I am a people person that truly believes in the power of human connection and therefore place a great importance on the right fit between a therapist and a client. My work is very much based on a collaborative approach because “You” know “You” the best. It’s important to me that you will feel comfortable and safe to explore and address any issues you are struggling with. , I have over 15 years of experience working with individuals and groups in educational, community, and healthcare settings presenting with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and/or addictive behaviours, relationship concerns, anger, grief and loss, self-care, self-esteem, and other mental health concerns. , My goal is to help individuals focus on their wellness and overcome life’s challenges. I have specialized training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). I am most excited with incorporating ART in my practice being an evidence based therapy that has shown immediate results.
