I am a registered psychologist and certified teacher with 30+ years of experience working with and supporting individuals of varying abilities. In my roles as psychologist, educational and behaviour consultant, and educator, I have acquired a wide range of experience working with individuals in home, school, and community settings; skills which I bring into all of my work. This practical experience has afforded me the ability to translate individual and family priorities, as well as diagnostic information, into pragmatic and functional individual goals and interventions, to more effectively support children and their families. , I am able to complete complex psychoeducational & diagnostic assessments, including those for Autism, as well as provide consultation to parents & families whose children present with unique social, educational/academic, emotional, behavioural, &/or adaptive needs; providing parents with the knowledge and strategies they need to help support their children. , I have completed specialized training in Autism assessment & diagnosis of young children through the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, assessments which are considered clinically equivalent to the diagnostic assessments completed by the Glenrose. Assessment can help to better understand the person as a whole & thus help maximize the individual’s potential.
