I have significant experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, stress and the associated challenges of addictions, relationship breakdown, and isolation. I regularly work with individuals and couples. I enjoy helping clients through periods of transition. My clients come from many walks of life and cultural backgrounds. I have done a significant amount of clinical work with clients from many cultural and religious backgrounds. , I have advanced training in working with various trauma therapy approaches (i.e EMDR, CBT, narrative trauma therapy, somatic therapy). I am also trained in the gold standard for couples counselling (Emotionally Focused therapy). In addition, I have training in strategies that have been proven effective to treat addiction, depression, anxiety and stress. , I worked previously for 12 years as a fully certified psychologist in Hong Kong. I have met all the requirements for registration in Canada and am waiting on writing my final exams for full registration.
