I have over 30 years experience working in the mental heath sector in Calgary, with the past 17 years spent at Alberta Health Services as a Mental Health Clinician working with adults. I provide a holistic, client-centered approach, and use a variety of therapeutic modalities. I am particularly interested in helping people recover from trauma, grief and loss, using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). It is a non-invasive, evidence-based psychotherapy providing relief from distressing or traumatic images or memories. , ART can treat many issues, such as grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, and more, often in just a few sessions. I am a Certified Master in this therapy. I am a Counseling Therapist (CT) and a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN). I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have taken additional training at the Grief Recovery Institute. , I bring warmth, compassion and understanding to sessions.
