To me, having a therapist is having someone to walk with you through life, which we all sometimes need. I hope I can walk with you through your unique journey to a place of healing. I have supported clients with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, PTSD and women’s issues. I especially enjoy helping those who have gone through medical trauma and cope with chronic health issues. I know these issues are unique, and finding someone who understands the emotions that come with them can be challenging. I also greatly enjoy supporting parents and facilitating all types of relationship counselling , I work through an integrated approach, bringing in bits and pieces from different modalities to find the best tools to help you as an individual. This includes elements of mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and unconditional positive regard.
