Life often presents us with unexpected challenges that can feel overwhelming and insurmountable. Life transitions, stress, depression and anxiety can negatively impact our coping and confidence. These difficulties often become the dominant story in people’s lives and get in the way of engaging in life in the ways that they want. , I am passionate about partnering with clients to overcome the challenges that life presents. My therapy practice comes from a holistic, strength-based, person-centered perspective that is trauma-informed. I draw from a number of therapeutic modalities that include CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and behavioura activation. , Formally trained as an occupational therapist, I have 20 years of experience working as a mental health therapist with adult and geriatric clients. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, stress management, caregiver strain, life changes, adjustment to physical illness, cognitive impairment and dementia.
