About Us

Many of us have experienced adversity in our lives, including myself. Whether it is trauma, chronic pain/illness, racial discrimination or struggles, grief and loss, or depression/anxiety, these experiences often leave us feeling mentally, physically, and emotionally drained. My experiences have taught me that each person experiences adversity differently, and therefore, requires a unique approach for their unique experiential reality. Moreover, I believe that every person has the desire, capacity, and ability to heal and experience growth. , I describe myself as a BIPOC trauma therapist. I am passionate about diversity and inclusion and I have training and competency with a variety of therapeutic approaches including EMDR, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Somatic Therapy, etc. I use my diverse competencies to create specialized treatment plans for each client. , My personal approach to working with clients is in a warm, flexible, compassionate, and relational manner. I enjoy bringing my authentic and genuine self into my therapy practice. I take a non-expert stance in my work with clients but instead work to empower and support my clients through their unique healing journey.
