About Us

Many people who struggle with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress, feel embarrassed or stigmatized. Others who struggle with domestic violence, relationship issues, faith based struggles, addiction issues, suicidal ideations, and anger management issues feel alone and unsure of who they can speak to. The foundation of my counselling practice is being compassionate and non-judgmental. I provide a person-centred practice which is about the client defining their own goals. I assure my clients they are in a safe place, confidentiality upheld, validated, and their life story and experiences honoured. , I draw upon the Cognitive Therapy Model, Spiritual Infused Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation and Relaxation, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Theory. I also have provided customized mental health and wellness workshops for Atco gas, IFSSA, numerous community organisations and for University students. , Taking the first step in reaching out to a professional can be intimidating. I have come to appreciate that each person has the capacity to overcome challenges by drawing from their human spirit, strength, and abilities. My counselling approach with you focuses on building strengths from your experiences, capacities, and the process of self-discovery.
