About Us

Adult professionals who experience anxiety and stress related to their occupational roles are my primary area of interest, and I have worked extensively with paramedics, nurses, therapists, judges, Crown prosecutors, and university students. I also frequently work with general anxiety, social anxiety, efficacy in personal relationships, and concerns related to trauma and PTSD. \nIf you experience "out of control" thoughts, feel helpless as a result of occupational or political systems, struggle in your high-stress occupational role, or desire an increase in connections and community, I may be the therapist for you! , In addition to my registration as a psychologist, I am also a PhD student at the University of Alberta. I have Doctoral-level training in intervention methods and cross-cultural counselling, as well as training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. My area of research is how mental health intersects with occupational stress. , My style is highly evidence-based but casual. I am collaborative and practical in my approach, and I frequently use humour in therapy. I am familiar and adept with the language and dark humour that is often inherent to high-pressure roles, and am comfortable in many settings (i.e. I\m not a "stuffy" therapist!).
