About Us

" I work with children, youth, and adults offering varied counselling approaches based on the needs of my clients. My clients want to tell their story and be listened to with compassion and effective individualized counselling strategies by a professional mental health counsellor. I use the process of self-exploration, self-understanding, and self-initiative. Youth and children need engaged art and/or play therapy approaches to explore and express their thoughts and feelings. I have certifications in EFT (tapping) and kundalini yoga, which focuses on easing anxiety, depression, trauma and additions for children, teens, and adults. ", I bring 38 years of mental health practice, education and counselling to my practice. I offer a compassionate, strength based approach. I integrate somatic approaches, CBT, reflective journaling, creative arts and breath work. It is important to talk about issues and concerns but also to have strategies to manage feelings of anxiety, grief, depression etc. , I am here to listen to your story with compassion. I will discuss with you how best to support you with a very personalized approach. I offer a 30 minute complementary session so you can determine if you wish to work with me. I strongly believe that everyone can be supported, through counselling, to find joy and manage difficult feelings and circumstances.
