Alex is a registered clinical counsellor who is passionate about understanding the intricacies of the human condition; and finding greater peace through the experiences and spaces that hold pain and wounding. She believes that our strongest potential for transformative change occurs in safe connected relationships. That is why Alex aims to foster the right relational conditions in therapy; for folks to safely dive deep into the terrain they wish to understand and heal. In strengthening the relationship we have with ourselves, we can also access the wisdom and resilience needed to thrive in our relationships with others and life. , Alex\s approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and grounded in relational frameworks that focus on depth, awareness, and other agents of change. Alex\s work with clients tends to focus on tending to the core wound of "not enough", eating disorder recovery, relationship challenges, and personal growth. , Alex holds gentle yet accountable space for clients to grow and heal. She believes that change and healing involves moving through blockages and building a capacity to sit with discomfort in order to transform it; rather than avoiding it.
