I work with children, youth and adults to manage anxiety, depression, grief and loss and other life challenges. Having worked for over 10 years in elementary and middle schools in Canada and abroad, I have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by school aged children, both in and out of the school environment and enjoy working with this age group. I am also passionate about offering parenting support that encourages parents to feel confident in their role as a parent leader while maintaining and developing strong, connected relationships with their child. , My therapeutic approach is informed by Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I find integrating expressive art, games, and play therapy techniques to be especially helpful to create an engaging and supportive therapeutic experience. , We all have the capacity for personal growth and healing.
