My knowledge and experience are built on a foundation of trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, feminist, and somatic approaches. My work in the non-profit sector focused on women and children/youth who had experienced violence and abuse. In private practice, I seek to support people by building self understanding, self compassion, and positive growth. I give clients the space they need to be heard and seen, and to help navigate their life story in a way that promotes current and future well-being. I am in my Intermediate year (2 of 3) of Somatic Experiencing training and am excited to offer this approach of nervous system regulation.
