About Us

My journey with art therapy began when I utilized art in my own personal healing route, after I had undergone a life-altering motor vehicle accident. My love for creativity and being surrounded by variety of art media, helped me conquer my own stress related to chronic pain. Specifically, the repetitive movements of creating art helped push my brain to retrain and gain agency over my physical and emotional well-being. After discovering for myself the healing and therapeutic benefits of art, I decided to pursue art therapy as a path to support individuals through life’s challenges. , My approach to art therapy is one that is person-centred, and focuses on the individual as a whole; their uniqueness, personal values, beliefs and differences. As a compassionate facilitator I will meet people where they are. By combining the creative process of image making, along with psychotherapy, I will help facilitate the understanding of “self”. , The aim of my practice is to provide a supportive and a therapeutic alliance between myself and my clients. By observing, fostering self-awareness and improving communication skills, my clients will be empowered to gain a better understanding of “self”, that will ultimately lead to positive change.
