About Us

I am Tania Cisneros-Ventura. A bilingual, bicultural Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT). I have acquired 20 years of experience working with diverse communities in various settings. I have the privilege of working with children, youth, adults, and families to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma that impacts their ability to problem-solve. I am committed to helping clients develop practical strategies that can be used in daily life, even after therapy ends using methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). , These methods teach strategies for challenging beliefs, modifying behavior, and creating positive thoughts and actions. ACT helps clients align their actions with their core values for a more meaningful life. I strive to work from a collaborative, strengths-based approach, assisting and supporting clients to be the authors of their own narratives. , As far as I can remember I have been drawn to supporting others through many different roles, as an early childhood educator, parent liaison, paraprofessional, sister, friend, and mother. I wholeheartedly believe that affording individuals the opportunity to share their stories enables them to find their voice or reclaim it when necessary.
