Secure, confident individuals are not born, but created. I use an experiential community based style for children, individuals, and their families who have experienced violence/abuse, unexpected life transitions, and fractured relationships. My work is to help my clients regain a sense of trust and a confident sense of self. Living with significant life stressors such as divorce, violence, grief and other transitions is difficult for anyone of any age, but especially for adolescents. We all need a space to explore the internal workings of our heart and mind with someone who can listen. , In their own home, individuals may feel more comfortable. Through the ability to see a home environment and observe how people use their space, this typically leads to a quicker building of a strong therapeutic connection. Such a personalized approach is often hard to achieve in an office. In-home therapy can also be done in a variety of settings. , " Teenagers struggle enough as it is to open up to adults.
