I have clients, not patients, because therapy is not only for those struggling with challenges but for those who want to have a better version of themselves and compromise to do the inner work to reach the goal. I am an immigrant myself and understand how life can change from one moment to another. The key is to learn how to create resilience to cope with challenges and survive. I use an integrative approach to counseling that includes Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectica Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength-Based approaches to help you manage symptoms, improve or recover, and create resilience to face challenges. , I am a Hispanic therapist with knowledge and awareness about how culture, beliefs, and religion/spirituality impact each person differently. I understand how many of you feel isolated, outsiders, or in between cultures due to being part of an ethnic minority group, immigrant, or part of a multiracial family.
