Therapy looks different for every individual, but often the objective is to help motivate people to discover the inner strength and courage they need to transform their life. , As a psychologist I practice an eclectic approach to therapy in that I try to individualize treatment for each client. My approach is based in behavioral therapy but I also use mindfulness and solution focused techniques. I treat anxiety, depressive disorders, and specialize in the treatment of PTSD where I specifically use EMDR as a treatment approach. , Making the decision to seek therapy can be very difficult….even scary for some. One must feel safe and comfortable enough to trust that their problems/concerns will be handled with care and genuine concern. The therapy room is a sacred place, in that you take a risk and place your trust in the hands of another. My hope is that you find that with me.
