Dr. Cynthia McCall

My name is Lyn McCall, I am a licensed addiction counselor. I have been working as a counselor for the past 29 years. My work focuses on a variety of issues: addiction, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTDS, gender identify, just to name a few. Addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders has been my focus t throughout my career. I am comfortable working with adolescents or adults, both male and female. I specialize in EMDR, (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and (DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure Therapy. , Influenced by my own therapy, I was motivated to become a therapist. Coming from a long family history of addiction, I was naturally attracted to the mental health field. I want to teach others that they can overcome and get through whatever life throws at you. Together we can get through obstacles and barriers. , " I start by asking clients what their overall goal really is. Identifying a starting point is next. Helping your clients face and understand exactly where they are in terms of this goal is a good place to start. Its important that they are honest with themselves as well, by examining where things currently stand. "
