Choosing to change—to rekindle passion and purpose—with the help of a therapist is hard work. So, thank you for being here; let’s see if I might be a good fit. My goal is to share skills and to help process whatever is keeping you from experiencing a sense of wholeness that connection to your passions and purposes brings. While I see people of all ages, I tend to work with teenagers and adults and with those experiencing grief, suffering from trauma, or facing existential/identity turmoil. Outside of counseling, I am a bookworm with a particular taste for sci-fi or philosophy, and I delight in restoring vintage or antique items. , With grief, I offer to witness the loss with you, to navigate the grief, and to provide some trends and experiences of those who have gone before us. If unrest arises from the unprocessed narratives and beliefs that plague us, I can offer cognitive approaches geared to unearth these thoughts. , Alternately, since our bodies are active in our emotional pain, I can provide EMDR or other somatic approaches to incorporate your physical being in therapy should you desire that as part of treatment.
