Welcome to my profile! I would first like to commend you for taking an important step to bettering your mental health. I hope I can be a partner in your journey to fulfilling your goals. Working with clients, my aim is to co-create goals that help move you forward and help you come into a better relationship with yourself and others. I emphasize the values of compassion, authenticity and unconditional positive regard. All of your parts are welcome in our sessions and I believe there are no bad parts, just ones that carry burdens from the past. , However, instead of analyzing the past, I take a present-centered approach where we focus on how your distress is affecting you in the now moment. If the past is an issue, we bring it into the present moment with techniques such as role-playing, empty chair, and somatic (body) work to engage with emotions in a grounded fashion. , I also integrate mindfulness and the spiritual dimension depending on your interests. Ultimately, our sessions are centered around you and I believe everyone has the tools to heal themselves with the right guidance. I view myself as a guide, leading you to heal yourself.
