One of the most universal human experiences is the desire to feel understood and valued. When we don’t feel understood, we become disconnected from our friends, family, and even ourselves. While suffering is part of the human condition, suffering in silence often leads to difficulties with our loved ones, and personal growth, complicated relationships with food, alcohol/drugs, and our own bodies. My hope in our work together is that your healing empowers you to create a life that is authentically aligned with your values. , I enjoy working with people who may feel stuck, but are willing and motivated to look inward and explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors that impact their self-esteem and relationships. I also love working with individuals in the LGBTQ community who are at various stages of understanding their identity. , My approach to counseling is one rooted in a true relationship with my clients. I have found that the best treatment is individualized and honors the qualities that makes people who they are. I believe there is power in honoring our stories so that we can experience the healing we deserve.
