I utilize an integrative counseling approach that includes aspects of Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With a strong belief that not “one size fits all,” I am able to meet you where you are at. I am excited to join the clinician team at Kairos Wellness Collective and to widen my treatment scope in working with individuals with OCD. I am particularly interested in empowering clients to talk back to their negative thoughts, and establish a strong positive self-regard. I am passionate about helping clients take the reins of their own healing. , I have a background in working with an array of presenting problems related to depression, anxiety, identity exploration, sexual/affectional orientation and currently OCD. I aim to explore the intersectionality of individuals and how that shaped their resilience to battle implicit discrimination and disparities in their reality. , Creating a safe and inclusive environment to induce positive change in an individual’s life is of utmost importance to my therapeutic strategy. Being part of the hearing impaired and LGBTQIA+ communities has equipped me with a distinct capacity to recognize and celebrate each client’s unique differences.
