About Us

Healing is a journey requiring “strength, courage, and wisdom”. I hope to accompany you on your path as you voyage through celebrations and challenges in life that lead to your ultimate liberation. I’m a Contemplative Psychotherapist trained in Buddhist Psychology from Naropa University. I work to contact the inherent wisdom that is in each human’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, using mindful awareness within the therapeutic process. My therapeutic interventions come from a bevy of evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT and also include Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (trauma-focused somatics) and Parts Work from IFS. , I see clients who face a wide array of challenges, specializing in trauma/PTSD, social change issues, and identity development (gender, sexuality, partnership, navigating chronic illness, and more). I work to serve the minoritized and politicized, particularly enjoying being in service to activists, using Liberation Psychology as a framework to my approach. , I help clients to recognize power/privilege/oppression in hopes of illuminating paths of liberation. My mindful approach includes helping clients get safely into their bodies to explore their world through the nervous system to better understand how to traverse trauma. I identify as a Nepantlera, or an in-betweener, of many identities, and I welcome yours!
