Everyone tells a story: "I am a success," "I am content with my life," "I am a failure," or "no one cares about me." If your story is increasingly negative, perhaps we should talk about it. I use narrative therapy, which helps you separate yourself from your problems and then conquer them. It\s like rewriting your story; your problems become the villains, and therapy helps you defeat them. In addition to narrative therapy, I am also an EMDR Level I & II practitioner, a therapy which helps you to reprocess traumatic memories so that you are no longer triggered by them. Our practice is accepting new clients. , I am passionate about working with military and first responders and their families. Military life is a unique lifestyle, my experience as a military spouse gives me a special understanding of it. Growing up in a first responder family provided me insight into those unique issues, as well. , If your Christian faith is important to you, I can incorporate it into the healing process. If you are not a religious person, we will seek healing from other avenues.
