I am a very realistic, down-to-earth, straightforward therapist, and I strive to be both a genuine human being and an effective clinician. I work very well with teens, young adults, and adults from a wide variety of backgrounds, and have a solid understanding of a range of behavioral and developmental issues that can occur during these stages of life. In particular, I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, and PTSD. , My personal experiences give me a unique perspective and ability to address OCD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Primarily I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a therapy technique that works to counter thought patterns that are the result of and a contributing factor to OCD, depression, and anxiety. I also utilize EMDR in the treatment of PTSD and CPTSD. , I bring to my practice a collection of unique experiences, well-rounded training, and a worldview that allows me to understand and connect with a variety of people and personalities in a therapeutically beneficial way. I strive to relate to my clients with empathy and authenticity: you are not a bundle of issues to me: you are a person and you matter.
