" Hello! I am so happy youre here! My name is Melinda and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Florida. I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who are experiencing trauma related issues, anxiety, depression, stress, attachment and low self-esteem. I approach therapy from a cognitive behavioral perspective when working with clients, however I incorporate techniques from various therapeutic modalities to meet each individual and family needs. I strive to keep my therapeutic environment a safe place without bias or judgment. ", in addition to my private practice work, I have experience working in a non-profit community agency treating survivors of abuse and maltreatment, as well as working with families to heal from difficult situations and building attachment.
