Welcome to Purpose, PLLC! I am Kedisha Dixon, MSW, LCSW, the owner of Purpose. Purpose was established to be a support for our adolescent community. A safe place to navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict or whatever “purpose robbers” that are at play. My purpose as a clinically trained therapist is to engage with adolescents; teaching them new ways of adapting/coping with mental health symptoms or challenges. With an eclectic and directive approach, my ultimate purpose in this work is healing through social work and therapy! , Doing therapy as an inpatient adolescent therapist, taught me how difficult adolescents have it today. From the pressures of social media to the dark paths of suicidal ideation to trauma, our youth are in need. Purpose provides individual and family therapy to help with strengthening their toolbox to face the challenges of life.
