Dr. Sandriekia Baker

My name is Sandriekia “Sandy” Baker and I am based in Lafayette, Louisiana and working with clients in Colorado and Louisiana via telehealth and Sandy is my preferred name. I work with children, adolescents and adults; I specialize in anxiety, stress, grief, depression, and trauma using an integrative therapeutic approach to help my clients make progress and start feeling better. , I approach goal setting with Clients by exploring their strengths with them, identifying their reason for seeking therapy, what they hope to achieve by working with me and how they want things to look different than their current circumstances and relying on their strengths are a great place to start building towards those goals. , In the first session, Client’s should expect it to be more like an intake assessment because I will be working with them to gain a sense of who they are, hear their story and learn how I can build rapport with a Client.
