As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), I am trained in providing mental health counseling services to individuals, groups, couples and families. I am driven to help people with a diverse range of needs. Using a person-centered orientation to counseling, often coupled with a solution-focused approach, I have been described as warm, empathic and relatable. My primary commitment is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity and acceptance. Through this foundation, where a safe, nonjudgmental environment is born, I believe healing is possible. , " I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), am Nationally Certified (NCC) and received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA). I am an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) as well as the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI). I also serve as a Peer Support Provider at the IAPMD and am TEFL certified. ", I can incorporate the power of healing through dogs for those that might be interested. I have two dogs: one golden retriever and one cavachon, both of whom have their own special and unique therapeutic efficacy. Under the right circumstances, I believe pet therapy can help enhance the therapeutic process. This is of course optional for anyone interested.
