Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a licensed social worker who works primarily with children and teens. I specialize in helping younger children navigate anxiety, ADHD, and regulating emotions. I also work with teenagers and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or those seeking a space to express themselves. Often, behavioral issues at home and school stem from difficulties in recognizing, communicating, and coping with emotions. Whether your child is shy, quiet, and hesitant to try new things, or quick to frustrate and find themselves in trouble, their behavior is usually reflection of their emotions. , " My sessions typically involve art, games, stories, and play. I truly enjoy building relationships with the families I work with, and believe therapy should be a fun and positive experience where kids can gain new skills and build their confidence.
