Greetings. My name is Heather. I have been a social worker for over the past 6 six years and recently obtained my clinical license. I have been working since I was 16 years old. I have done everything from childcare, restaurant server and was the director of a gymnastics program for over 5 years. As a social worker, I have experience working with children through adults in a variety of settings. My most recent position I was a supervisor for an inpatient psychiatrics hospital. I enjoy collaborating with my clients. I want to hear what has been troubling you and how together we can make adjustments, learn new skills or prospective. , My approach to therapy is a collaborative team work. Together, we will discuss what has been troubling you and we will determine the "game plan" on how to make adjustments. This could be using techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and/or psychodynamic therapy. , I like to create a very peaceful and relaxing environment.
