Thank you for considering me in your search for a therapist. You are taking a courageous step, and the good news is you do not have to do it alone! Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions we can experience at some points in our lives. After 20 years of experience, I have developed a strong set of skills and a versatile style. I find with compassion, humor, education, and respect combined with my clinical experience has made me very sucsssful when helping people. , I am a certified EMDR Therapist. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) is a very effective psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of distrubing life experiences. EMDR therapy shows that the mind can heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma. , My focus is to help women heal, become more aware of their inner strengths and to develop improved coping skills. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space, support and compassion. Together we can make a plan and take back control, release what no longer serves you and work towards your personal goals, towards healing.
