I also specialize in ACT, another CBT approach that helps people learn new ways of attending to their thoughts and emotions. , DBT is an evidence based practice that was developed by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. The treatment blends Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Zen practice and dialectical philosophy. This treatment helps us balance acceptance in the moment with the need and desire for change. ACT is a form of CBT that I also utilize to help people learn a more effective way of coping. , I am only providing Teletherapy. Individual skills training sessions are available as well given you have a primary therapist.
