For the past 18 years I have worked as a clinician and supervisor in schools, behavioral health agencies, and substance abuse facilities while maintaining a private practice in Brookfield, CT. As a result, my clinical approach, which is built on a solid foundation of family systems training, reflects all that I have learned along the way in my work with relationships, emotional problems, life changes, addictions, co-occurring disorders, trauma and other issues affecting individuals, couples, and families , I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I hold a certification in Medication Assisted Treatment and am certified as a Trauma Professional and as a Co-Occurring Disorders Professional. I am also trained in EMDR. , I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults who are seeking change in their personal lives and/or relationships. I also work with caregivers facing issues with elderly parents. Hours are flexible, with weekday and Saturday appointments available. I accept most insurance and work with several Employee Assistance Programs.
