As a current Doctoral student in a clinical psychology (PsyD) program, I primarily work with clients 10+ years old who struggle with significant emotional dysregulation, interpersonal conflict, depression/anxiety, and trauma-related issues. I work in collaboration with parents and caregivers in understanding/managing their children’s emotions/behaviors while building upon preexisting strengths within the family system. Through therapy, I support clients in their journey of self-growth and empower them to take an active role in shaping the life they deserve. , Fundamentally, I focus on establishing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship that facilitates sharing. When clients are ready, I take a warm, compassionate, yet direct approach in challenging clients to make actionable change in their lives that align with their values and goals. , I encourage clients to reflect upon patterns that show up in their life and their relationships and help to identify aspects in their life to change. I focus on building self-awareness of the interplay between each individual’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors utilizing evidence-based practices that also support clients in navigating a balanced life.
