Starting therapy takes courage, especially if it is new to you or if you have heard negative things about the topic of mental health. Often, my clients are considering therapy for the first time or they are returning to therapy after many years. It is usually when something very difficult or unexpected is happening in their life and they just do not know where to start, are feeling alone, or confused. You are taking an important step toward finding the support you need. I appreciate how uncomfortable beginning this process can be, and together we will figure it out. , I am compassionate and direct in my approach to psychotherapy. I provide a safe, encouraging and nurturing environment for you to explore the challenges you are facing. You will begin to understand yourself in deeper, more productive ways. We will build on your strengths and find the tools within you to make important and lasting changes. , My clients come to me looking for help when things feel difficult to handle on their own. Change is hard. Most people feel unsure about some adjustments they need to make in life, and struggle with the self esteem, anxiety and depression that get in the way of their goals. I approach therapy as a partnership and look forward to working together.
