About Us

Thank you first for visiting my page and considering working with me! I have a personal investment in the counseling profession and want to give back to my community in more ways than one. Therapeutically, my goal is to build a bond with each and every client by meeting you where you are, mentally and emotionally, and always remaining non-judgmental. I am also a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional and have experience with substance abuse issues in multiple settings. Turning Corners will be embarking on Obesity and Eating Disorders groups, as well as referral services and specialized treatments in the near future! , My counseling styles are primarily person/client-centered and solution-focused with an emphasis on Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies (CBT & DBT); I believe the client is the expert on their experience. I also believe in a Family Systems counseling style when working with children and families. Above everything else, communication is key! , My philosophy is that our relationship comes first and if we establish the appropriate therapeutic bond, we can work through anything; this process is worth taking the time to build.
