About Us

Finding the right therapist can be hard and I strive to make it a safe, comfortable atmosphere, while creating easy rapport, establishing trust and connecting on relatable topics. I have provided individual therapy to children, adolescents and young adults in outpatient settings, partial hospitalization day treatments, an alternative school and as an intensive home-based therapist for juvenile court. With my younger children/teen clients, I strive to address behavioral issues, build emotional vocabulary, incorporate SEL, improve self-esteem/worth/confidence, address trauma, heal the wounded child, and strengthen their relationships , I have experience treating PTSD, complex trauma, mood disorders, conduct, behavioral defiance, ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief, substance use and legal involvement. I am a certified TF-CBT therapist, and use additional evidence- based treatments including DBT, CBT, MI, strength based and reality therapy. I like to include art, music and physical movement. , I recognize and value the importance of building a therapeutic relationship and the need to create a trusting and safe space for both the parent and child. It is important to me to meet the client where they are, collaborate on treatment and encourage progress, while targeting each need. With children/teens, I know how crucial a connection is to progress.
