About Us

Hi! My name is Bethany, and I am so glad you have come to my page. My practice primarily focuses on helping people who struggle in relationships. I use attachment theory to identify the type of dysfunction/trauma you adapted to early in life. These adaptations often create dysfunction such chronic breakups, divorce, patterns or cycles of conflict we get stuck in. I focus on how you attach to partners, peers, work, and yourself in ways that reflect your past and work on changing them in the present. Primarily I use CBT, DBT, RODBT, and a trauma informed lens to help implement behavioral and relationship changes in their lives. , I believe the majority of our struggles begin and end with attachment. Meaning, our earliest attachments inform how we view the world and how we respond to it. As we get older, we may have behaviors and ways of thinking that don’t serve us anymore, and we need to learn ways to heal those attachment traumas and behaviors. , My hope is to create a safe environment for my clients to speak freely and be themselves. I strive to go at your pace, and I believe it is beneficial to provide tools, education, feedback, as well as empathy. I am a fully licensed marriage and family therapist in FL and GA.
